PEI-Genesis is a franchised assembler and distributor specialising in connectors for military, aerospace and industrial applications. Founded in Philadelphia in 1946, the company established a presence in Europe in 1998 and, since 2004, has been offering a 48-hour connector assembly service from its European headquarters in Southampton, UK. Working in partnership with leading manufacturers such as Amphenol, Cinch, ITT Cannon & Polamco, VEAM and Glenair, the company achieves its high service levels by carrying a $55 million inventory of piece-parts and using in-house developed machines to automate the connector assembly process. This enables the company to build over 8 million connectors a year, all with no minimum order quantities. A specialist engineering team is always on hand to provide advice on the correct product to use for a particular application, and this technical expertise is complemented by a website that offers a wealth of useful resources.
